Welcome to my photo album, containing photographs I have taken since the early-1990s to the present day. There are quite a lot of images, as you can imagine! What I have done is categorise the photos by subject to make it as easy as possible to navigate. The variety of images is an mix of all sorts of subjects that I have committed to either photographic film or a digital sensor. The album is being added to on a continuous basis. The list of subjects are listed below; just click on the subject to go to the page dedicated to it

I have displayed the photos in a consistent format. Underneath each photo I have stated the technical details of the photograph, which is generally camera and lens used, shutter speed, aperture and then any other details such as if I used a filter. In some cases, these details are missing, so I have stated whatever details I have on the photos such as the film used. Please note that for the photographs taken with the digital camera, the lens aperture used might not be exactly correct; this is because with the setup I use, a Leica SL(typ 601) camera body with the adapter for the lens, the camera has to guess the aperture used and is not always correct. Underneath these technical details, there may be comments I have added relevant to the photograph.

Also note that I regularly use filters in my landscape photos, and if one was used, I have noted this as well. However, with photos taken from 2024 onwards, I no longer write down the technical details, as the camera records this - lens used, etc. Obviously, it won’t know if I used a filter, so this is not recorded. In view of this, you can probably safely assume that one was used if the photograph shows a lot of sky; the filters I use are grey or blue graduates, depending on the colour of the sky.

The photos shown on each page are displayed in relatively low-resolution, for two reasons - to minimise copyright theft, and to keep the file sizes down, otherwise the pages might take a long time to load. Please browse to your heart’s content!
